Investors participating in the program include Adina Davis (BoxGroup), Alexa Binns (Halogen Ventures), Andy Ravreby (Amity Ventures), Erica Van (CRV), Ha Nguyen (Spero Ventures), Han Shen (iFly.vc), Iris Choi (Floodgate), Saloni Gupta (Sageview Capital), and Shruti Gandhi (Array Ventures), to name a few.
Amazon Web Services Mentorship Days
Join us for group mentor sessions, exclusively for WAFFA’s female founders, with an AWS startup expert to get your questions answered. Group mentor sessions provide opportunities for startup leaders to discuss key challenges and best practices with experienced startup experts and their peers. All sessions will be held virtually, with one startup mentor and six peers. When registering, please indicate your first and second session topic choices. Our team will do our best to accommodate your preferences.
Meet with an Investor
Red & Blue Ventures
WAFFA is proud to partner with Red & Blue Ventures to provide female founders with the benefit of dedicated interaction with a VC. Red & Blue has raised and deployed multiple vintages, creating portfolios that range from 30-50% female founders. The newest investment team member, Tiffany Yao, C’18, SPP’19, will work alongside Managing Director, Michael Aronson, to hear pitches (if fundraising) or provide actionable feedback (if not fundraising).
In an effort to support the WAFFA community, we have partnered with FounderNest to build a network of investors and founders who would be interested in discovering one another. FounderNest, co-founded by Wharton alumnus Miguel Gonzalez, is an AI and data profiling company that discovers the right fit between companies and investors. If both sides agree, an introduction is made. You can find more information about them on their deck for founders or investors.
They’re tackling the hassle and inherent inefficiencies of startup fundraising that they experienced as founders. Their discovery matchmaking is currently being used by over 1300 startups, and top tier investors such as Sequoia, Andreessen Horowitz, First Round Capital, Global Founders Capital, Speed Invest, NEA, Innovation Endeavors, Blue Run Ventures; and now they’re partnering with us!
Before launching the network, we would like to collect preliminary information about you to begin building the infrastructure. In order to do so, please fill out the following form. It will take you less than 2 minutes!
By doing so, you’ll be indicating that you would like to be a part of this new network and give consent to FounderNest to create a preliminary profile for you to fill out later on. All your information will be confidential.
